Being a Christian with Christ-like Attitude

Act like Jesus, toward sinners and brethren in compassion, toward saints in warm affection, toward others in love. We are to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Jesus Christ has forgiven us. If we forgive those who sin against us, our heavenly Father will forgive us. But if we refuse to forgive others, our Father will not forgive our sins. Hate what is wrong. Stand on the side of the good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Live in Harmony with each other. Don't try to act important, but enjoy the company of ordinary people. Don't think we know it all. Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Do things in such a way that everyone can see we are honorable.

The key is this: Love and explain to others that God has ALREADY forgiven them but waiting. But in order to restore their relationship with God from eternal death, they are to repent and acknowledge God and Jesus so that they can have eternal life. God ALREADY FORGAVE..... now He is WAITING for those to REPENT so that the relationship can be RESTORED. Remember the story about the rich ruler? Jesus looked after the rich young ruler as he walked away, but Jesus did not follow him or attempt to coerce him. Jesus wants people make their own moral choices; and Christ knew this and permitted rich ruler to go his own chosen way. Jesus is saying that He cannot do our repenting for us. He died for our sins, now it is up to THEM to pick up the cross.

We're engaged in an eternal work; the destiny of souls is at stake. We are seeking to uphold the world, to save it from the curse of God of eternal death.

A church is an assembly of believers and is made up of real spiritual people. When we look in the mirror, we are the part of the spiritual Church. If the people are submitting to the Holy Spirit, who will give them fruit. Not the Church organization, nor the Bible nor Tradition. That if we have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make our joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. (Philippians 2:1-2). Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God (Colossians 3:16).

Many people are forgetting the REAL purpose of the CHURCH. We should all take a long hard look at what things we consider to be important. It appear that most of us are in an agreement that "Church, Tradition and Bible" are important. One thing we forget is God. Worship is to be personal, in spirit and the focus should be on GOD only. Worship to me is DAILY and Sundays are my worship with my fellow believers. When we worship in Church, we focus on God and no one else. When we worship God in image, we are to "Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his holy mountain, for the LORD our God is holy." (Psalm 99:9).
